One of the most frightening dilemmas to face the average parent is “What do I pack for my child’s lunch?” In the often intense competition of our children’s attention to their products, food companies have gone to great lengths to certify their snack products as kosher. One large company, Post, has gone so far as to distribute a color brochure featuring their products and their appropriate Brochos. Equally confusing can be the problem of finding properly certified products for a birthday party. Fortunately, most major companies have now put many of their products under reliable certifications. Raw nuts, dried fruit and raisins without oil, can be used even without certification.
