Leiman Schlussel Chocolate Covered Waffle Filled with Chocolate with Peanut Cream is now Kosher certified under Star-D supervision.  This product is dairy, non-Cholov Yisroel.  This includes lots bearing codes 05,07,08/2019; 01,02/07/2019.

Korean Premium Yuzu Jam, manufactured by Foodberry Co. is now certified kosher and dairy (non-Cholov Yisroel) under Star D supervision.

Yuzu Juice,  manufactured by Foodberry Co. is now certified Kosher under Star-K supervision.  This product is pareve.

Baskin-Robbins new Non-Dairy Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Frozen Dessert and Non-Dairy Chocolate Extreme Frozen Dessert bear a Star-D symbol due to dairy equipment and may be eaten AFTER meat, but not with meat.  In addition, the following Baskin-Robbins ices and sorbets bear a Star-D symbol due to dairy equipment and may be eaten after meat:

Daquiri Ice

Horchata Ice

Watermelon Splash Ice

Miami Vice Sorbet

Raspberry Sorbet

“Sorbet” and “Sherbet” differ because sherbet ALWAYS contains actual milk.

 

The Circle-V symbol is nearly identical to the more recent symbol used to indicate that a product is vegan.  This has caused much confusion for kosher consumers so the Vaad HaIr of St. Louis is modifying its kosher symbol to OVK inside an oval shape.  Consumers may notice the new symbol on store products.

Pure, unflavored honey is Kosher without  Hashgacha.

The RCC now gives their Kosher supervision to Tel Aviv Grill Calabasas in Woodland Hills, Ca.

The RCC (Rabbinical Council of California) is now giving their Kosher supervision on Paprika Restaurant on Beverly Blvd. in Los Angeles.

General Mills Cinnamon Toast Crunch Churros is currently kosher and DAIRY, without the O/U on the box.

Rice Krispy toasted rice cereal bar with melted marshmallows erroneously bears a Beth Din logo. This product is not kosher. The company is aware of their error and are in the process of correcting it. The Cape Town Beth Din has informed us that: Cape Dried Fruit Packers – Wasabi peanuts is incorrectly labelled parev, the product is dairy. Cape Dried Fruit Packers – Bar Snack Mix is incorrectly labelled parev, the product is dairy.

2. Dr. Sandwich Beverly location( Beverly Blvd and Gardner)  a versatile Mediterranean / American  restaurant is fully operational for dining and occasions.

 

3. Darna In the Kineret Restaurant(19737 Ventura Blvd, Woodland Hills, CA 91364) under new ownership continues to operate under RCC certification.
