From The O/U: Beth Israel Hospital (New York) Certification Change
Effective on or about December 1, 2015, Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital, located at First Ave. and 16th St. in New York, will offer Kosher patient meals prepared under Hashgacha Temidis of the O/U. These meals will be available upon request from a separate menu for patients. Additionally, the Café will have extended hours seven days per week. Sealed Kosher food will be available from a designated location. A Kosher vending machine will also be available. The Café will no longer be O/U certified.
From the O/U: Coca Cola Freestyle Machines
The Coca Cola Co. enables the consumer to mix a variety of soft drink flavors to his/her own personal choice. All flavors available in the freestyle machines in the U.S. and Canada are products of the Coca Cola Co. O/K Kosher To Certify Kitniyos for Pesach
OK Kosher will now certify Kitniyos for Passover
Due to the growth of meticulous kashrus observance and the subsequent growth of kosher production, the OK is meeting the increased demand for kosher certified kitniyos products so kosher observant communities that consume kitniyos during Passover have an array of kosher products produced at the highest standard of kashrus. The OK strives to ensure that ALL consumers have Passover and year round products that are kosher without compromise.
As with all Passover productions, kitniyos products will have a mashgiach temidi for the special productions and the label will clearly state “OK Kitniyos”.
