From The Atlanta Kosher Commission: Riced Cauliflower

Riced Cauliflower is very popular now, being used as a healthy alternative for such things as pizza base, pasta alternatives and more.  Trader Joe’s, Birdseye and Green Giant brands of Frozen Plain Riced Cauliflower do NOT need a Hashgacha on the label.  All other brands and refrigerated/fresh/riced cauliflower need certification.

Many people are turning to food deliveries during these times. One needs to be careful to check the labels of food they order to make sure they received actual kosher food. Sometimes the website puts wrong information as in the picture below, and sometimes the item that is delivered is not certified.

The sleeve on the 2 pack of Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal only bears a plain O/U symbol.  Each individual box, correctly bears an O/UD (dairy) designation.  The product, at this time, does NOT contain actual dairy, but is processed on dairy equipment.

From The O/U for Pesach: Manischwitz Concord Wine at BC Liquor Stores

Please be aware that the Manischewitz Concord Wine available at local BC Liquor stores is not certified Kosher for Passover. Manischewitz makes wine special for Pesach with an O/U-P n the label and their year-round label states “not for Passover use” as it contains Kitniyot.

Some packages of Takaokaya Nori have a sticker over the Star-K symbol. They are not certified by the Star-K. Only packages with the Star-K symbol showing (without a sticker on it) are certified. Please check each package before purchasing.
