Effective immediately, all products from Minhas Craft Brewery in Monroe, Wisconsin, are no longer certified by the cRc (Chicago Rabbinical Council).

The Star K has terminated their Hashgacha on Palermo, Milas, Casa di Oliva and Original Gourmet Olive Oils due to Kashrus Violations.  Kosher consumers are advised NOT to use these Olive Oil products, even when bearing the Star-K (i.e. if it is already in your pantry etc.), with the exception of unflavored Olive Oil.

From The KSA: Jecky’s Best Burekas

Please be advised that Spinach-Potato Burekas and Spinach-cheese Burekas, produced by Jecky’s Best bear an unauthorized KSA Kosher symbol.  These items are NOT Kosher certified.

Sunkist Breakfast Espresso and Mango Dark Chocolate Trail Mix, distributed by Snack It Forward (sold at Walmart stores) has been mislabeled with a plain O/K Kosher symbol instead of O/KD (dairy) designation. Please note that all other products bearing the O/K Kosher symbol are now certified by the O/K.

From The COR: Yupik Store in Montreal

Non-Kosher products have been inadvertently labeled with the COR 712 symbol in the Yupik Store, located on 1385 Rue de Louvain O in Montreal.  Anything purchased from this store is NOT Kosher certified, even when bearing the COR 712 symbol,  until further notice.

The Orthodox Union does not certify White Street Breads.  White Street Caucasian Bread is being sold with an unauthorized O/U symbol.  Corrective measures have been taken.

The Orthodox Union certifies several Quality Sprinkles products.  However, the O/U does not certify the Lacy Butterflies.  the Lacy Butterflies Wafers bear an unauthorized O/U symbol and contain a non-Kosher ingredient.  This product is primarily sold in Australia.

RED PEPPERS FROM ISRAEL FOUND IN SUPERMARKETS

Peppers from Eretz Yisroel  are now being found in local supermarkets.  Care should be taken in regards to Terumos and Maasros.  Consult with your local Halachic authority as to the proper procedure in dealing with Terumos and Maasros.

Please be advised that King’s Fresh & Delicious Chipotle Queso Cashews, in 16 oz. bags, manufactured by King Nut, bear an unauthorized Star-K Pareve symbol.  The nuts are actually Kosher dairy, non-Cholov Yisroel.  The product was sold in Marc’s supermarkets in the Cleveland Ohio area.

Franquicias Kosher de Panama S.A. is advertising Kosher fried chicken under the TIBI Gourmet label, bearing an unauthorized O/K Kosher symbol on the packaging.  O/K Kosher certification does NOT certify this product.

Woodpecker brand Toffee Covered Pretzels, Yogurt Covered Pretzels and Milk Chocolate Covered Pretzels were mistakenly labeled with the O/K Kosher symbol instead of the O/KD (dairy) symbol.  These products contain dairy ingredients as stipulated in the ingredient and allergen panels and are DAIRY.
