Recently, possibly due to the shortage, there’s been several unauthorized Kof-K’s on Nori Sheets. They do not certified any Nori produced in China. The only Nori company certified by the Kof-K is Yamamotoyama.

From the OU: Bone Suckin Sauces – Must Check for OU

The Orthodox Union certifies several Bone Suckin’ sauce products. The certified products bear the OU Symbol. As a result of recent production changes, some Bone Suckin’ products no longer bear the OU Symbol. Consumers should look for the OU Symbol when purchasing products.

The Orthodox Union does not certify First Street parmesan cheese packets, a foodservice item. Some labels bear an unauthorized OU-D symbol. Corrective actions are being implemented.

Glory Foods Candied Yams, Seasoned Southe4rn Style bear an unauthorized Star-K symbol.  The formulation includes dairy ingredients as indicated on the ingredient panel and should have been labeled “Star-D”.  This product is dairy, non-Cholov Yisroel.

From The COR: Gioia “S” Biscuits

Gioia “S” Biscuits was incorrectly labeled without a “dairy” designation.  This product is dairy and kosher certified under COR supervision.

From The cRc: Skinny Pop Kettle Corn Popcorn

The new variety pack of Skinny Pop Kettle Corn Popcorn contains the varieties Sweet Vanilla, Sweet & Salty Kettle and Cinnamon & Sugar Kettle Corn.  The outer box bears the cRc and O/U logos.  However, the kosher symbol was omitted from some varieties of the inner bags.  These products ARE certified Kosher and pareve.

The O/U certifies a variety of Voss brand water products, however, the O/U does NOT certify Voss Water + Collagen.  Some bottles of Voss Water + Collagen are labeled with an unauthorized O/U symbol.
