The Star K shared with us that it has come to their attention that 2 large beer distribution companies in Baltimore and the surrounding areas are Jewish owned. As such, many brands of beer sold in the Baltimore area are Chomets She’avar Alav HaPesach and may not be purchased at this time.
These distributors have informed the Star K that the stock of beer that they owned over Pesach will not be depleted until sometime in July.
Check the Star K website for details as to which beers are problematic and when they may be purchased again.
This information applies only to Baltimore City and Baltimore County. The Star K does not have any information about beers sold outside of Maryland.
