Packages of fresh cut carrots and products containing fresh carrots, distributed by East Coast Fresh of Savage, Maryland with a sell-by date of July 17, 2016 or earlier bear an unauthorized Star K symbol. These are products of Israel, and Terumos & Maaseros must be taken. This applies to both retail packages sold under the brand name of “Nature’s Kitchen” and wholesale containers with a label that states “Packed by East Coast Fresh”.
