Due to a Kashrus violation, Island Crust Cafe on Mercer Island (Seattle) is closed immediately until further notice.  If you have purchased anything today, the Vaad of Seattle warns that it may not be kosher and they advise against eating it.

Due to supply chain issues, the Kosher certification of Smuckers Uncrustables will be discontinued over the next few months.  Packaging that bears the O/U symbol is, in fact, Kosher.  The uncertified product is now hitting the market.  Consumers should always verify the presence of the Kosher symbol before purchasing.
