From The COR of Detroit: The Grove Dark Chocolate Bridge Mix

The Grove (Detroit) Dark Chocolate Bridge Mix sold in the last two weeks is labeled as pareve, but actually contains dairy (non-Cholov Yisroel) items.  These packages can be identified by a mixture of lighter and darker colored items and should be returned to the store for a full refund.

From The EarthKosher: Brewli

Please be advised that the tea products sold by Brewli of Newton, MA are not certified by EarthKosher at this time. These products should not be used even when bearing the EarthKosher symbol.

From The O/K: Sedano’s Supermarkets

The Sedano’s Supermarkets location at 1255 West Flagler St. in Miami is labeling bakery products with an unauthorized O/K symbol.  O/K Kosher does not certify any Sedano’s locations or products.

From The O/U: Nature Nate’s

Effective immediately, Nature Nate’s has been terminated by O/U supervision, due to Kashrus violations.  All products, even when bearing the O/U symbol are not certified.  

From The O/U: Aldi Muffins

The O/U certifies Apple Cinnamon Mini Muffin and Pumpkin Spice Mini Muffin O/UD (dairy).  The products contain dairy as indicated in the ingredients and allergens statements.  Some packaging was printed with only an O/U symbol, without the D (dairy) designation.  

From The O/U: Spilman Treats

The O/U does not certify Spilman Treats products.  The label’s statement that the product is under the supervision of “The Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America” is not authorized by the Orthodox Union.  

From The O/U: Kraft String Cheese

Lactalis Heritage Dairy has decided to remove O/UD kosher certification from Kraft Natural Cheese String Cheese products and transition to another Kosher certifying entity and its kashrus standards.

The Star-K recommends that ALL Quinoa be checked prior to usage, even when there is a hechsher on the package.  Infestation issues arise from improper storage, which is beyond the control of any hashgacha.   Most recently, Simpli brand White, Tricolor or Red quinoa, with Use-By dates May-June 2026 were found to be infested.

Pinas Locas Quetzaly in Spring Valley, N.Y. is displaying an unauthorized O/K certification mark on various materials representing their establishment.  O/K certification does not certify any of this company’s locations or products.  

From The Star-K: Northeast Quartered Artichoke Hearts

Cans of Northeast Quartered Artichoke Hearts bear an unauthorized Star-K symbol (note:  Affected products are large foodservice #10″ cans).  Star-K does not certify artichoke hearts due to insect infestation.  

From The CRC (Central Rabbinical Congress): Kleinhouse Coffee

The New High-Quality Coffee from Kleinhouse Coffee, produced under the CRC, contains micro-ground pieces of coffee beans that are roasted but not cooked.  Therefore, one should be careful when using this coffee on Shabbos to ensure compliance with the prohibition against cooking on Shabbos.  Each person should consult their Rabbinic Halachic authority.
