From The Council of Rabbis of Detroit: Hidden Valley Original Ranch Seasoning & Salad Dressing Mix

Hidden Valley Original Ranch Seasoning & Salad Dressing Mix, in an 8 oz. shaker container mistakenly bears a Plain O/U without a “D” (dairy” designation.  This product is, in fact, dairy and lists buttermilk in the ingredients.

From the Council of Rabbis of Detroit: Chef’s Quality Semi-Sweet Chocolate Drops

Chef’s Quality Semi-Sweet Chocolate Drops, with O/U pareve certification, is no longer available at Restaurant Depot.  This product has been replaced with Chef’s Quality Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips, which is certified as O/UD (dairy) and lists butterfat in the ingredients.

From the Council of Rabbis of Detroit: Lieber’s Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Some bags of Lieber’s Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips  were found to contain mini, light-colored chip mixed with the regular, darker chocolate chips.  These chips are Kosher pareve coffee chips that were packed in the semi sweet bags due to an error in production.
