Glory Foods Candied Yams, Seasoned Southe4rn Style bear an unauthorized Star-K symbol.  The formulation includes dairy ingredients as indicated on the ingredient panel and should have been labeled “Star-D”.  This product is dairy, non-Cholov Yisroel.

Rito Foods manufactures a Cocoa Spread with Hazelnuts.  This product has the reliable kosher supervision of Balkan Kosher.  There was an error on the packaging, as the hashgacha logo did not include “d” for dairy.  This product is indeed dairy, as one of the ingredients is whole milk powder.

The O/U does NOT certify any SweetKiwi products.  Some SweetKiwi Frozen Yogurt and Greek Yogurt products bear an unauthorized O/U marking.  These products are sold in the Maryland, DC and Virginia areas.

Please be aware that some of the new Tums Naturals contain carmine (a non-kosher red pigment from crushed cochineal insects) and is, therefore, not kosher.  The kosher consumer should be careful to check each Tums container to see if there is a kosher symbol on the label.

From The O/K: Z-Beltz, Fizz Bottles

Various THC-containing candy products are being distributed bearing an unauthorized O/K symbol.  These products are NOT certified by O/K Kosher certification.  The O/K currently does not certify any recreational THC products.

From the OK: Lightlife Foods – Some products no longer certified.

Due to changes in production, the following Lightlife Foods products are no longer kosher:   Lightlife Foods Smart Tenders Savory Chick’n Lightlife Foods Smart Menu Veggie Meatballs   New packaging does not bear the OK symbol. Any remaining products bearing the OK symbol are certified.
